PAMELA BROOKS – Owner/Master Stylist & Colorist

Pam is an artist whose 30-year career as a stylist and colorist, she will tell you, is her “calling.” She was trained and mentored by the late Robert Farwick, president of Hair Surgeon Designers, Inc., in Cincinnati, Ohio, whose whole-person “psychological” approach to cutting and styling hair built multiple salons throughout the Midwest during the 1980’s – 90’s. Farwick developed the Five Form Cutting System, which takes into consideration each individual’s face shape as well as their lifestyle. Today all Statements in Hair stylists are trained in Pam Brooks’ technique, based on Farwick’s acclaimed system.

Before opening her first salon in 1991, Pam traveled throughout the country and Canada training stylists in Farwick’s “designing for the individual” technique. She’s done hair and make-up for stars of the national touring “Smart Talk,” speaker series, including Patricia Heaton and Billy Jean King. Pam is also known for her expertise as a colorist.

Pam opened Statements Salon (now Statements in Hair) in Glendale, Ohio in 1999. Over the years Pam and her staff have raised thousands of dollars hosting fundraisers for non-profit organizations and disaster relief, including the Gulf oil spill and Hurricane Katrina. Pam was the first stylist to help provide free haircuts on Thanksgiving Day at City Gospel Mission in Cincinnati. The salon continues to partner with this life-changing non-profit organization.
